Paddle Mixer - Agitator - used wherever there is no need to produce intensive axial and radial circulation in the liquid. In their classic variant, these agitators mainly produce circumferential circulation. In order to increase the mass flow and mixing efficiency, modified blade shapes are used and at the end of the chief blades, smaller auxiliary blades with an inverted direction of attack are added.
Single or double shaft with welded on fixed pitch paddles faces along the radius towards the middle of the digester. With each turn the paddles cross the complete volume of the digester making sure that the biomass is properly mixed and fresh substrate is well-dispers.
Consisting of large diameter paddle sweeping across the tank bottom, lifting the product and pushing it ahead with a horizontal and vertical mixing action. Ensures thorough mixing and aids in unloading product.
