Purpose and Advantage
Conveying hot material can cause expansion on rotor, using heat can synchronize the expansion of valve body and rotor. This maintain the rotor clearance and to avoid damages causing by the interference between rotor and valve body and it can also reduce the air leakage rate.
The stainless steel valve body has the jacket design, designed for pressure and heating systems.
THE PROBLEM:
The customer wants to heat the material to 200°C.
It is necessary to solve the valve body heating, and the expansion of the material during the heating process leads to blockage.

During the heating process of the valve body, a rotary valve that can control the heating temperature
THE SOLUTION:
Starting with our standard stainless steel rotary valve, we modify it to protect components from heat. The steam jacketed rotary valve body is designed to strengthen the airtightness and bearing pressure of the valve body. Adding a heat shield protects the motor. The valve is also equipped with other high temperature modifications including ceramic gland packing, high temperature bearings and heat resistant paint
